Amway was running thousands of legacy integration endpoints. We moved them in phases so the business never had to stop, rebuilding the estate on open source and API-led integration with a microservices architecture on Apache Camel and Google Apigee. The same programme strengthened how trading partners are onboarded.
We built the enterprise integration layer that sits above the migrated systems. It is API-based, with a cache tier in front of the legacy applications so they can scale and carry partner channels.
Maxis put an operations-first support model in place. We automated the routine checks and reworked the processes around them, which is where the saving came from, alongside better use of the people running it.
Employee records were being moved from SAP into HRX by hand, which meant delay and transcription errors. Boomi integrations now carry the transfer, and the data lands in HRX in real time.
