VKraft Software Services was set up in July 2010 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, building business automation and digital transformation solutions for local enterprises.
The early jobs were not exciting. Moving a process off spreadsheets, getting two systems to agree on what a customer record looked like, and a great deal of replacing nightly file drops with something a team could actually monitor. That kind of work is where you find out how enterprise projects break, and it is almost never the part everyone was worried about.
Clients kept asking for the next piece: a gateway in front of the services, then a partner channel, then a reporting layer someone in finance could read without training. The practice grew into API management and integration work, and later into products of our own.
We have worked with start-ups and with large enterprises since then. Delivery now runs out of Malaysia, India, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States.
The engineering culture has not changed much. Teams stay small enough that everyone knows their own code, and the people you meet in the first meeting are the ones who end up building the thing.
